Event check-in, made effortless.

On-site name badge printing is one of the fastest, most flexible, and cost-effective ways to manage event check-in. Unlike pre-printed badges or traditional thermal printing systems, Fredo's solution is designed to reduce manual work, lower costs, and create a better attendee experience.

Faster event check-in With Fredo, attendees can be checked in and receive a printed name badge in as little as 15 seconds. This helps reduce queues, improve first impressions, and keep registration areas running smoothly.

No Need to Pre-Print Hundreds of Badges Pre-printing event badges requires significant manual effort before the event. Organisers often spend hours preparing, sorting, transporting, and updating badges. Last-minute registrations, attendee changes, and no-shows can also lead to wasted badges and unnecessary costs. On-site printing eliminates these challenges by printing badges only when attendees arrive.

Works Without Internet or Wi-Fi Many event venues have unreliable, overloaded, or expensive internet connections. Fredo's badge printing system works without requiring Wi-Fi or an internet connection, ensuring a reliable check-in experience regardless of venue connectivity.

Lower Printing Costs Unlike many thermal badge printing systems, Fredo does not require expensive thermal printers, proprietary cartridges, or costly consumables. This helps keep event registration costs predictable and affordable.

Simple and intuitive to use The system is designed for event teams, volunteers, and venue staff to use with minimal training. Because the software and hardware are straightforward and easy to operate, there is typically no need for expensive on-site technical support.

Portable and Easy to Deploy Fredo's compact hardware is lightweight, cable-free, and easy to transport. Equipment can be shipped anywhere in the world or moved around a venue without complicated setup requirements.

Reduce Equipment Clutter Traditional event registration systems often rely on laptops, bulky printers, power cables, and complex setups. Fredo replaces these clunky check-in stations with a clean, mobile solution that takes up less space and creates a more professional registration experience.

Better for Last-Minute Changes Attendee information can change right up until the event starts. On-site badge printing allows organisers to accommodate new registrations, name changes, company updates, and VIP upgrades instantly without reprinting large batches of badges.

For conferences, trade shows, corporate events, exhibitions, and networking events, on-site badge printing provides a faster, more reliable, and more scalable alternative to pre-printed badges and legacy name badge printing solutions.

Fredo offers a range of optional add-on features that enhance your event check-in experience, improve data capture, and simplify both attendee and exhibitor workflows. These add-ons can be included depending on the size, complexity, and goals of your event.

Session scanning Session scanning allows organisers to track attendance at individual sessions, workshops, or breakout rooms. Attendees can be scanned in quickly as they enter each session, providing real-time visibility into engagement and participation data.

Lead capture Lead capture tools enable exhibitors and sponsors to scan attendee badges and instantly collect contact details. This replaces manual business card collection and helps exhibitors generate high-quality, structured leads during the event.

Self check-in tablets Self-check-in tablets allow attendees to check themselves in on arrival. This reduces queue times, speeds up registration flow, and frees up event staff to focus on support and attendee experience rather than manual check-in.

On-site technical support For larger or more complex events, Fredo offers optional on-site technical support. A trained specialist can be present during setup and event days to assist with configuration, troubleshooting, and ensuring smooth operation throughout the event.

Lanyards We also offer lanyards as an optional add-on, providing a complete badge-and-lanyard solution for your event. These can be supplied alongside name badges for a consistent and professional attendee experience.

These optional features allow you to customise Fredo to match the scale and requirements of your event, whether you are running a small conference or a large international exhibition.
